Speakers Bureau

We want to have a huge impact and create big time change in any community that uses our Safe Schools and Communities Program. In order to do that and develop leaders for the future we have an ongoing program to train and develop new speakers. We want to make sure that when we do a training or workshop we represent LGBTQ+ leadership, identities, stories, perspective, and passion.

Speakers

Story sharing is one of the most powerful ways we can create change. Stories have forever helped open people’s minds, dismantled harmful myths and stereotypes, evoked empathy, and provided real life context to the importance of creating inclusive environments. By sharing your story you help create safer and more affirming environments for LGBTQ+ people. If you are interested in becoming a speaker or a trainer, please fill out this form.  Speakers and Trainers are paid a stipend and compensated for their time and travel. Once you are trained and as the need arises, you will receive an email with the upcoming engagements.

We are able to pay our youth speakers thanks in part to the Manny Correia Youth Speaker’s Fund.
