After careful deliberation regarding the long-term impact of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have chosen to cancel Pride & Passion, originally scheduled to take place on May 1st, 2020. We are excited to transition to a virtual social event . Although we will not see each other in person, we will not be distanced in our connection to each other.
Pride & Passion is our annual flagship benefit that takes place in the spring. Every year over 600 people attend the gala to enjoy an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner followed by a live and silent auction with one of a kind items up for bid. Past packages have ranged from a NYC weekend paired with Hamilton Tickets to a dinner for 12 at the Boston Public Library, privately catered by The Catered Affair. Each year at the event we also present the Cornerstone of Equality award to an individual whose support of the LGBTQ community has stood out as exemplary. Previous honorees include Josh Kraft, Cynthia Bissett Germanotta (Lady Gaga’s mom), and Joe Kennedy III. We also announce our scholarship winner, which goes to a student who has taken action to promote support and acceptance of LGBTQ youth in their high schools.
